There is an interesting confluence of spirituality and humanity occurring. I wondered what it would be. Now I see clearly.
In the past I have referred to the intersection of divine and human as the center of the cross, the sweet spot where we are what is, where we pour love onto saint and sinner alike and come to realize there is no such thing as saint or sinner.
There is a lot of talk, some from me, about the need to be heard. to stand for love, to be the proving ground that clearly and consciously demonstrates the cruel and heartless fallacies of fascism. We are at that moment in time, a moment where we will be asked to choose, a moment when our safety and comfort will be ripped from us whether we choose or not.
There is no neutral ground in an earthquake.
In the spiritual world the path eventually leads to the demise of the sense of power, which is embedded as the sense of self, the concept of separation, the idea of individuation. When that earthquake hits, all bets are off. The emerging truth disables all previous reference points, the idea of self, included.
In our very human experience the path has led us to this moment where we either allow our humanity to be ripped from us, where we allow empathy and compassion to die along with all that makes life truly worth living, where we let community fracture and be replaced with dog eat dog (what we are seeing now) … or we choose, we stand, we step into the streets for the long haul and put the society built on suffering, on wealth gaps that defy the Grand Canyon, on human trafficking and slavery, on the exhaustive extraction of resources and the total disregard for the Earth and her inhabitants, on notice:
We will not stand for the rape and pillaging of people and planet. There are consequences and anyone who does not understand that, beware. The tables have flipped, the game reset. The greedy few will never overpower the many. This ends now.
The human path is as dangerous to the individual as the spiritual is to separation. That is the confluence I speak of. We are not two. There is not two. As these paths flow together, as we risk everything, our lives included, to move forward, as we let our awakening spiritual understanding lead the way, as we release the insecurities of me and open into the power of we, our hearts and eyes open to the magnificence of our true name, our true inheritance, the reality of being truly human while absolutely divine, something that cannot be seen while we have a stranglehold on our mortality.
There is no difference between the apparent two, other than in thoughts and concepts, ideas and beliefs. I am you; you are me and neither exist as we believe they do.
This isn’t the wild West. We are not on our own. We need not stand alone. We were never solitary souls, isolated beings. That is the story we’ve been sold that disempowers us. Empathy and understanding are our friends. Community is our grounding board, and it is everywhere. Our solution, our way out of the maze, the path that will free us from these troubling times, exists right here, right now.
We can’t know what to do next. We haven’t done it yet. Knowing is of the past.
All we have ever been able to do is to step into the unknowing and let the uncertainty, the vulnerability have its way with us. To do this consciously opens our hearts to the infinite intelligence within. The intuitive improvisational mapmaker awaits.
